Today was National Pit Bull Awareness Day, and what better way to spend it than with my friends at Adore-A-Bull Rescue. They now have a new location where you’ll be able to meet their adorable dogs available for adoption – Pet Wants North in Madeira is now hosting them on a regular basis each weekend. I’m excited to see this new pet business in my own neighborhood, especially since they don’t breed discriminate. It’s nice to have a permanent location where a group like Adore-A-Bull can set up to showcase their animals.
Meet Hazel, the official Pet Wants Greeter. Her foster mom is Elisabeth of Pet Wants North, so she’ll be at the store on a regular basis until she finds her forever home. Hazel is a total sweetheart. Come out and meet her – you’ll love her!

Sam had a rough start in life. He lived chained up in a trailer park for the first year of his life. He’s housebroken and crate trained, and looking for someone to call his own. Sam is a 1.5-year old, spunky boy, great with other dogs. He’s extremely loyal and protective his person, and a total bed hog. He’s great on a leash and would love someone to take long walks with!
Sweet Shimmy recently had a litter of 8 pups. She’s such a frail little girl, she never should have been bred. She was a great mom to them all but still has a puppy personality. She’s now ready for someone to take care of her now.

Goldie loves giving hugs. She’s extremely affectionate, docile and a great couch potato companion. She does great with other dogs her size, loves to play and is good with commands.

Missy is a very sweet girl. She’s fantastic with other dogs, great with kids and loves everyone. She would make an outstanding watchdog and loves to play!
Nala is Danny’s dog, one of the founders of Adore-A-Bull. She was one of the dogs of inspiration for forming Adore-A-Bull Rescue, not available for adoption.
