Giving Back

I am so grateful to be able to do what I love, and to do so in a way that helps support causes that are important to me. Since its founding, phoDOGrapher has consistently supported a wide variety of not-for-profit organizations. Donations, financial contributions, auction items, food drives, photo sessions and special projects that add up to more than $30,000 and several tons of pet food that have been infused into our local community.

phoDOGrapher is a proud member of HeARTsSpeak, a community of artists who donate their time and talent to help save the lives of animals in need by supporting animal welfare organizations and communities, and the animals they serve.

In 2012, phoDOGrapher ventured into its biggest project yet – hosting a regional Super Adoption! My Furry Valentine was Cincinnati’s first ever super adoption, and it welcomes annually nearly 60 area shelters and rescues, thousands of adoptable animals and more than ten thousand visitors. A total of 266 animals were adopted as a result of this one-day event. In 2013, the event was expanded to a full weekend and even more families found the furry love of their life with more than 2,000 adoptions in the past four years. My Furry Valentine is now Cincinnati’s premier and most-anticipated adoption event and gathering of shelters, rescues, animal advocate groups, pet-friendly businesses and the pet-loving public. The next My Furry Valentine Super Adoption Weekend is scheduled for February 14-15th, 2016. Join us!

By choosing PhoDOGrapher, you’re not only making an investment in memorable images and artwork of your own pet, but you’re helping support causes we can all get behind. Over the years, PhoDOGrapher has supported and made contributions to the following organizations:

*Please Note:

phoDOGrapher is no longer donating photography sessions for fundraising events. Because of the growing calendar of photography, charitable and adoption events that I host in addition to client work, I am finding that I do not have the time to serve additional clients from fundraiser donations. Because I dedicate from 6-10 hours to serve each of my clients (paid or unpaid), I regrettably just don’t have enough hours in the day to support the number of clients from sessions that I’d like to donate to all the wonderful organizations out there. However, I continue to support local shelters and rescues by offering free sessions and images to provide photography for animals in need. And all groups are always welcome and encouraged to participate free of charge, in Cincinnati’s largest adoption event, My Furry Valentine, hosted annually by phoDOGrapher each February.
